PAYING FOR SERVICES:

Insurance currently accepted: 

  • Aetna, Anthem BC/BS, Cigna, Medicaid/Magellan, Medicare, Molina Complete Care, Optima, Tricare, United Healthcare, and Virginia Premier.
  • Depending on your plan, you may or may not have a co-payment, co-insurance and/or deductible. Kessler Psychological will confirm if you have a co-payment/insurance and/or deductible. Payment of what is not covered by your plan is ultimately your responsibility. If you do have a payment, you are expected to pay at each session unless decided otherwise with your clinician. NOTE: Kessler Psychological may attempt to become credentialed with your insurance if requested.

NOTE: As of March 1, we are no longer accepting new Cigna clients.

Out of Pocket 

  • Payees will be billed based on an accommodating sliding scale that is based on household income. Individual/Couple/Family therapy sessions range from $20-$250 and group therapy sessions range from $10-$100. Accommodations may also be made depending on the frequency of sessions and participation in other therapy modalities, such as both individual and group.
  • Payment is expected at the time of services and can be made by cash, money order, check or the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, or Discover.
